My 3rd time at Oyster Bar and still happy. This time was here on a Sunday afternoon just a few minutes after they opened and got seated right away by the bar. Was craving for their pan roast so here we are again. The place is small with probably 12 seating at the bar, a few tables inside and some tables outdoor. Just before we left they became packed with patrons. If coming in on peak hours and days, patience is needed as this place is small. They have happy hour on Mondays all day long, Tuesday-Thursday from 4pm to 7pm and Friday to Sunday from 1pm to 2:30pm and 4:30pm to 6pm. For this visit, I ordered their Pan Roast Penne (deliberately did not finish it because wanted to save it for next day lunch), we also shared a dozen of oysters(chef's choice) HH pricing for $27 and hubby got the 1lb Lobster Claw HH pricing of $34. And hubby ordered the Lychee Soju from Banzai Bunny. Everything is good as always. The Lobster claw was filled with meat and mind you hubby is not really fond of using his hands to peel crustaceans but this time he said he didn't mind because it was worth it. They also provided us with butter and garlicky butter sauces for the lobster. On our first visit, we got to try the Bone Marrow and Squid Whisker appetizers, a dozen of oysters (chef choice), Diablo Penne(spicy) and hot sake. Well, this place is definitely on top of our list. Definitely coming back for more. 30 4 2024 #264

Our third time here. Wife's idea, not mine. It's a good thing she decided today's dinner location. We chose to sit by the bar (again) for Sunday's Happy Hour. Free seating for early birds, I guess, but this limited seating restaurant filled up within half an hour. The patio was unoccupied due to the inclement weather. Our eats and drink. Lychee Soju from Banzai Bunny. Chilled and refreshing Korean rice wine. First time tasting this brand. Won't be my last. Dozen Oysters (Chef's Choice) for Happy Hour $27. Great blend of fresh and salt water half shelled apps paired with OB's four house sauces. I can't wait to come back for them. Lobster Claws (1lb) for Happy Hour $34. Worth it IMO. Lots of flesh to consume. I usually don't relish cracking crustaceans when I'm eating, but I exempted this one. Pan Roasted Penne $24. I got to taste one piece of shrimp, sausage and pasta before my wife decided not to share and decided to have it to-go for tomorrow's lunch. Now that we know about Oyster Bar's happy hour sched, we're surely coming back again and again.

Oyster Bar has great seafood Cajun/creole dishes. Highly recommend this place if you are a seafood lover. The restaurant itself is pretty small and it can get crowded sometimes. However they are able to accommodate bigger crowds from what I've seen. The service is typically good when I've been here and the last time I visited Oyster bar the server offered great recommendations. For starters we ordered the crab shrimp balls and they were so crispy on the outside and tender in the inside, topped with a yummy spicy mayo. For our entrees we got the Etoufee to staisfy your creole craving and the Crustacean French roll. Shoutout to the serve because she gave me a little bit of every sauce that you could order the roll with for me to try.

Second time here and just like the first time, the food was delicious. We went during happy hour to get some oysters and there were 3 of each flavor. They also came with sauces to try with. I'm going to be honest, I'm not so sophisticated that I can tell the difference between the flavors, but I can say they tasted good. I can't remember what I got last time so we ordered the pan roast, which had so much flavor but I don't think it was as good as the one I got last time. Our server was super sweet and checked up on us to make sure we got everything we needed for a good dinner. Also with Oyster Bar, you also get occasional texts and opportunities to earn gift cards to use for dinner.

I love seafood and oysters are right there on the top of my list. I have been here multiple times and they always have fresh oysters which I cannot get enough of. Their pasta dishes are also delicious! Nice little cozy restaurant, with available seating outside on a beautiful sunny day or options to sit inside and by the bar. The staff are always so helpful, they recommend the best sauces to go with the different kind of oysters. I'll continue to enjoy this little gem.

Love seafood, so we are always on the lookout for seafood places. I have been eyeing oyster bar at Natomas for quite sometime and finally we made it here for Saturday night. Seafood- fresh and good variety with amazing selection of sauces. Service - was top notch, even though we arrived 20 mins prior to their closing hour, we were welcomed with smiles. Ambience- Quite nice, it's a small place but well maintained and clean. Can get really crowded. They accept reservations for 5 and more. Must try pan roast, oysters and crab shrimp balls.

Finally tried Oyster Bar a few months ago and I was impressed! It's actually a lot smaller inside than I imagined but they do have patio seating for the warmer weather. They are also kid friendly and had high chairs available. We went in the afternoon so it wasn't crowded, and we also got to order the happy hour dozen oysters! It comes with three different sauces but each one was delicious. The Green Devil probably had to be my favorite one. I just wish I had more oysters to finish the sauce! We shared the squid whisker, which is basically like their version of calamari. It was nicely breaded and crispy. I loved the sauce it came with, which also came with their tater tots. These tater tots aren't normal tater tots - they were super creamy! The highlight of the meal was the pan roast. I wasn't really expecting much but the broth was SO good!! It has different seafood in it but my favorite part was the andouille sausage. Service was on point. Trang was our server and she was great! The food also came out extremely fast. Our meal was all done in less than an hour which is always appreciated when dining with a baby! I haven't been back yet because of how far it is but I hope to go back soon!!

North Natomas seafood bar We came here for dinner before heading to the airport. The place wasn't full on a Tuesday evening and we were able to get a table immediately. The interior is small, in fact, it's tiny but they do have outdoor seating too. There are four long tables that could seat up to 6 per table (whether you're a party of two or six) and the rest at the bar. We ordered Garlic Noodles, Panko Chicken and Bone Marrow. The bone marrow for $14.95 was deliciously savory. It came with Crostini bread on the side. I also enjoyed the $9 side garlic noodles... loved the umami garlic and the sprinkle of Parmesan. Hubby had the $14.95 chicken tenders. It was a simple meal of breaded tenderloin chicken but was seasoned well. The shoestring fries were nice and crispy. Our server was great. She came as needed when our glasses of water needed refilling and checked on us every so often. Looking forward in returning to indulge in some of their coastal bites... Review #3210
